About This Role
As a Computer Vision Engineer at SCIEN, you'll be responsible for developing cutting-edge computer vision systems for autonomous vehicles and industrial applications. You'll work with state-of-the-art technologies including PyTorch, OpenCV, and modern deep learning frameworks to build intelligent systems that can see and understand the world.
You'll collaborate with a world-class team of AI researchers, robotics engineers, and product managers to design, implement, and deploy computer vision solutions that power everything from autonomous vehicles to smart manufacturing systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of what's possible with computer vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement object detection and tracking algorithms for real-time applications
- Develop sensor fusion algorithms combining camera, LiDAR, and radar data
- Optimize computer vision models for edge deployment and real-time processing
- Build real-time processing pipelines for autonomous vehicle applications
- Collaborate with robotics teams to integrate vision systems
- Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision techniques
- Develop calibration and sensor alignment systems
- Create data augmentation and synthetic data generation pipelines
- Implement quality assurance and testing frameworks for vision systems
- Work with hardware teams to optimize camera and sensor integration
Requirements
Technical Skills
- 3+ years of computer vision experience with PyTorch and OpenCV
- Expert knowledge of deep learning for computer vision tasks
- Experience with autonomous vehicles and robotics applications
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for high-performance computing
- Understanding of sensor fusion and multi-modal perception
- Experience with edge deployment and model optimization
- Knowledge of 3D computer vision and geometric algorithms
- Experience with real-time systems and embedded programming
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of industry experience in computer vision development
- Proven track record of delivering computer vision solutions in production
- Experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics applications
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra and statistics
- Experience with GPU programming and optimization techniques
