About This Role

As a Business Development Manager at SCIEN, you'll be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new enterprise clients. You'll work closely with our technical teams to understand our capabilities and develop compelling proposals that showcase how our AI, blockchain, and software solutions can solve complex business challenges.

You'll collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, product managers, and executives to build relationships with enterprise clients and close deals that fuel our company's expansion. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from AI implementations to blockchain solutions, with unlimited growth potential and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise clients and prospects
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations for technical solutions
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and communicate capabilities
  • Track and report on sales metrics and pipeline development
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with enterprise clients
  • Work with marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies
  • Maintain CRM systems and sales documentation

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or software
  • Technical background preferred (understanding of AI, blockchain, or software)
  • Experience with enterprise software sales and complex sales cycles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Knowledge of enterprise procurement processes and decision-making
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of industry experience in business development or sales
  • Proven track record of building relationships with enterprise clients
  • Experience in technology, AI, blockchain, or software industries preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
